I am going to be cycling along the Mississippi River Trail from the headwaters in Itasca to the Iowa border to help raise funds for school-based healthcare services supported by the Park Nicollet Foundation. Having access to proper healthcare resources is incredibly important throughout our lives, especially in our early years. The Park Nicollet Foundation supports multiple programs that provide free healthcare services directly in schools for those who may not have access to these resources outside of school. My goal with this ride is to bring more awareness to the important programs that support students, raise money so these programs can continue to expand, and encourage others to give back to their communities.
